Park Street Family,

Seven and a half years on pastoral staff of a church really shapes you. It really shapes you when that seven and half years marks a quarter of your life AND half of your Christian journey. Most people my age haven’t even held a job that many years…but I digress!

Thank you for the wonderful party last Sunday (especially Jeff & BethAnn Weidenhamer) and for your many generous gifts, kind words, moments of laughter and for giving my three-year-old a sugar rush. It was a great way to wrap up my time on pastoral staff. Praise God that even though I won’t be on staff I can still be a part of the Park Street family.

Thank you for years of constant encouragement, powerful prayers, necessary challenges, and for apprenticing this young buck into the likeness of Jesus. It is impossible for me to tell my story without mentioning the people of Park Street. I look forward to many more years of conversation, laughter, prayer and mission together. For all that has been…thank you. To all that lies ahead, you better say yes!
