Camp Theme: Don't Eat the Sand! (Matthew 7:24-27 & Matthew 6:19-21)
It’s almost time for summer camp at Camp Bethany!! The brochures have been mailed to returning campers (additional ones available soon.) Camp is one of the amazing ways to “speak” Jesus into the lives of our children and youth. Living a Christian life is challenging and camp is a great place to explore, question and see their peers on their parallel journeys. Check out the website, www.campbethany.org.
This is Kenton and Tami Van Duyne’s 11th summer to direct the camp. They would be very glad to answer questions and are always looking for volunteers to be teachers, leaders, kitchen help, nurses, etc. Contact them (SOON)!!
Camp Dates:
- Post High Retreat: June 6-8 (High School Graduate-Age 40ish)
- Mini Camp: June 13-15 (Completed Grades 1-2)
- Sr. High: June 15-21 (Completed grades 9-12)
- Elementary: June 22-28 (Completed grades 3-4)
- Middler: June 29-July 5 (Completed grades 5-6)
- Jr. High: July 6-12 (Completed grades 7-8)
Our church does give scholarship money to each camper: $50.00 Mini Camp and $100.00 Full-Week Camp. To receive this scholarship, turn in your registration forms and fee to the Church Office by MAY 18! There are also some additional scholarship funds available. Call Sherry with requests. NOTE: Parents are invited to join their Mini campers for the week-end experience for only $20.00. Parents have as much fun as the kids! WE LOVE CAMP!!!! We’ll be there!! Join us!!
