Summer 2015 Mission Trips

This upcoming summer the youth group will be organizing trips to Lost Creek, KY (5/31-6/6) and Chicontla, Mexico (7/12-18). An interest meeting to answer any questions will be held at 710 Park Street at 6PM on January 18th. Doug Cooper and Jaime Juarez will be there to talk about some of the cultural and safety issues going into Mexico. We hope to see you there!

Mission trip applications for both teams will be due the following Friday, January 23rd along with a $50 deposit. Click here to apply online.

 

Lost Creek, KY // May 31 - June 6

Youth (grades 7-12) and adults will be returning to Riverside Christian School alongside youth groups from Gretna Brethren Church and 5 Stones Community Church. We'll be visiting our friends there and assisting with renovation projects around the school and getting involved in the community. Estimated cost is $125.

Chicontla, Mexico // July 12 - July 18

We will be taking a team of 6-10 high school students and adults to Mexico to do ministry with our partners in Chicontla. There has been a recent revival among youth there and they are requesting a team of youth and young adults from Park Street to and participate in ministry to build relationships together and further ministry. The trip will include service and relational ministry. Estimated cost is $1,200 (depending on airfare).
