Student Mission Trip Update

 

There has been a change of plans for our domestic mission trip along with 5 Stones and Gretna Brethren youth. Lori Keck, the principal at Riverside Christian School in Lost Creek KY, called us with the news that the school is overbooked for several weeks out of the summer. The Good news is that Riverside will have plenty of help to support their ministry this summer. The Bad news is that we will be unable to be a part of it.

 

In lieu of this news, we spent some time in prayer to seek God’s heart for this summer. After a lot of prayer and seeking, we have landed on an alternative option for our combined domestic mission trip. We will be working with YWAM in Madison, WI.

 

All those who applied for the Kentucky trip are pre-approved for the Madison trip - you will not need to fill out an additional application. However, you also have the freedom to opt out if you do not feel called to serve on this trip. If you are worried about the cost jump, please talk with me. Additionally, we will continue to accept applicants since we may have additional interest in the new location. 

 

 

 

The Chicontla trip (July 13-20) is still on as scheduled! Our team has been selected and we will be moving forward with preparation and fundraising soon. Keep your ears open for ways you can pray for and support this team!
