Deacons' News

The Deacons have been discussing and seeking the Lord on what their role is in the church. What we have heard, and what we have also seen in scripture, is that we are to be servants; both to the Lord and the body at Park Street. In an effort to make ourselves more available to all of you, we are now going to be wearing name tags during our services on Sunday morning. If you see a Deacon with a nametag, please feel free to approach them for anything you may need; a helping hand, prayer, direction, or just a listening ear. We have also been discussing mentoring. If you would be interested in finding someone in our congregation to be a mentor for you, or you would like to be available to be a mentor, feel free to talk to a Deacon about this. If there are other ways that we can serve you, please let one of the Deacons know.
