Advent Offering

November 25, 2015

Throughout Advent season, Park Street Brethren Church will seek to express the incarnation of our Lord and Savior in tangible ways to our neighbors near and far. Through an Advent Offering, we will partner with local, regional, and global ministries by way of financial support.

You are encouraged to give as the Lord leads from now until the first week of January. The PSBC Christmas Eve offering will be designated to the Advent Offering. If you wish, you may designate your giving to a particular ministry, please make a notation in the memo line of your check or offering envelope.

At Park Street we have identified ministries we will support during the Advent Season. Monies collected are above & beyond the regular giving. If you wish to donate to a specific cause, please make a notation in the memo line of your check. Thank you for your support of these ministries. All tithes collected at the Christmas Eve services will go towards our Advent ministries!

Radial Church: (regional) Nov. 29. Now in its fourth year, our Brethren church plant in Canton, Ohio is led by Pastor Dustin White and his wife Jamie. With their dynamic team, neighborhood house churches are thriving, people with severe emotional and physical needs are receiving ministry, and food and clothing are made available to the homeless. This year’s monies will help to support their neighborhood reinvigoration project - purchasing and renovating properties to serve as "3rd spaces" in the community for ministry.

Isaiah Project: (local) Dec. 6. We would like to be a blessing to the mission projects of Ashland University Office of Christian Ministry with financial support.

Riverside School (Lost Creek, KY): (regional) Dec. 13. Last year we were able to help update the computer lab & purchase Chromebooks to greatly improve the education experience for Riverside students. The plan for this year is to purchase more Chromebooks.

Chicontla: (global) Dec. 20. The focus of our advent offering efforts will be to sponsor a medical mission in Chicontla where nurses and doctors will tend to treatable medical conditions that the folks in Chicontla have no funds or access for.
