About…

Life seems to be all about getting a little brighter every day. Our entire lives are like gym lights that get flipped on and then take forever to fully brighten. From day one, we should keep getting a little wiser. We ought to continue to make our relationships a little warmer. Our reputations should get a shade cleaner. Our motives ought to become a touch purer. And our influence should grow more intense. This blog is just a story of that process. I suppose it’s aimed a little toward young adults, hoping that I might be able to shed some light on their paths. Mostly, it’s just a random snapshot of me, a dimwit, depending on Jesus to light me up.

Blogging is a little like away-messages and prayer. They are are done with the assumption that someone cares what we’re up to or what we have to say. To be honest, I’m blogging because I need someone else to care. We all want to matter in life and we all have a bit of built-in desire to be part of making a difference to someone else. This blog is no different. My hope is that I might say something that matters to someone else once in a while. Regardless, my need for someone else to care will keep me writing and praying. I pray that it will keep you checking back in once in a while.
