One of the most important ways we can share the compassion of Christ is by caring for our seniors -- especially those who cannot be physically engaged in church fellowship and activities. If you're a senior adult who has trouble getting around because of age or poor health, rest assured that you can still connect with your church family. If you're a PSBC attendee with a heart for seniors and are interested in volunteering in any of our senior care ministries, please see below for contact information or go to the Volunteer Opps section of this website.
We air our Sunday morning Worship Center broadcasts on Channel 2, so seniors (and others who might be home-bound for various reasons) can worship right along with the rest of us even on days that they can't be physically present at Park Street. If you would like to receive our weekly bulletin in the mail, please call Sherry Bryant in the church office (419)289-0224.
We conduct worship services at Brethren Care (Ashland) every other month. We invite you to join us in worshipping with our seniors.
The PSBC Visitation Team is a great way to share the love of Christ with those who are unable to leave their place of residence. Please contact Deb Gilson or Sherry Van Duyne at (419)289-0224 for more information on any of these ministries.

Shut-in Ministry
Seniors who are unable to leave their homes for fellowship with other believers will still find a group of dedicated people who enjoy connecting with them via notes, phone calls, and visits. Each month shut-ins are assigned to a different PSBC member. For more information, contact Bev Summy at 419-289-7978.
Visitation Ministry
We all desire personal fellowship with each other, and seniors are no different. Our visitation ministry offers them a way to connect one-on-one with other believers, whether in their home or at nursing facilities. For more information, contact either Pastor Jim Frado, 419-289-0224, or coordinator Deb Gilson, gilsonsd(at)aol.com.
Brethren Care Village Worship Services
Worship services are conducted by Park Street at the BCV nursing facility every two months, giving volunteers and seniors an opportunity to interact. You can serve in this important ministry by singing or playing music, sharing a devotional or message, and just visiting with residents one-on-one. Pastor Jim Frado, 419-289-0224, directs this program.
Health Awareness Ministry
This valuable ministry was developed to make PSBC members/attendees more aware of various health issues that may impact them, their families and friends. Blood pressure screenings are offered free once-a-month on the first Sunday each month in the Christian Education office during church services. If you can take a blood pressure, or have other medical knowledge/skills to offer, this may be the ministry for you. Linda McCarty, 419-289-9497, is the contact.
