Cedar Point Trip

Student Ministries will be going to Cedar Point on June 6. We invite anyone in the church who would like to go to join us. Tickets will be $35 per person. We also have the option of purchasing all day drink wristbands for $7. This is a great option as drinks are very expensive in the park. Please contact Paula paula@brethrenchurch.org or 419-606-4823 with questions. We will leave from Park St at 9am and return to Park St. around 11pm. Money for tickets needs to be given to Paula by MAY 29.

Volunteers and cookies needed for Lincoln Open House

Park Street has “adopted” Lincoln Elementary for the past couple of years and our volunteers have helped care for kids, teachers, and families. Now that Lincoln School is being closed down, we would like to help them celebrate a great year by serving one last time at the school’s end-of-year open house on Thursday, May 24, from 4-7 pm. We need volunteers to serve refreshments, and we need donations of homemade cookies and punch. Please write a note on your communication card or email wlance@parkstreetbrethren.org if you can volunteer or provide cookies. All donations can be taken directly to the school by 3:30 pm that day. Thanks for helping us care for Lincoln staff and kids one last time!

Tables on sale for missions

The tables on display in the foyer and gym today were hand painted by local artists (including our own Sue Amstutz and Steve Huber). Sue Sprunger is selling them with 100% of the proceeds going toward Gospel for Asia. Please check out both displays. These tables would make a great Mother’s Day gift!

Graduation Sunday

We will be honoring all graduates (high school, college, graduate school) on Sunday, June 10 in both services. Contact the church office to make sure you’re on the list so we can honor you that Sunday. In addition, we would like to create a poster to honor our high school graduates. If a picture and a bio (i.e., graduating school and plans for the Fall) could be dropped off to the church office by Friday, May 25, then we’ll get it on the poster. [Please do not send scanned pictures because of low quality for the poster. We will return all pictures that are used.]
