Small Group Leaders Still Sought

Missional Small Group Leader Trainings will be Wed., Sept. 8th at 7 pm in the Sr. High Room or Sunday, Sept. 12th at 9:45 am. Volunteer leaders need come to only one session. Praise God we already have 25 volunteers to lead missional small groups! We are seeking at least 15 more. Please prayerfully consider this and contact the church office if you are interested.

Serve at the Ashland Fair

We have volunteered as a church to do cleanliness patrol duty at the Ashland County Fair. This aligns with our core value to be a missional congregation attending to the quality of life of every person in our parish. And it is a fun way to serve our community! The opportunity to sign up for a two-hour segments during Fair Week is coming soon. Sign up as families, small groups, ABFs, or groups of friends – and let’s have fun serving Ashland in this practical way. Thanks to Mike and Mindy Lawrentz for coordinating the volunteer sign-ups.

Student Small Groups Begin September 26

Student small groups will start the week of September 26th and run through the week of December 12th. Junior High students will meet on Sunday nights and Senior High students will meet on nights determined by the group and their leader. Park Street’s student ministry is moving away from the youth group model to a network of small groups. It’s important for students to be involved, so please encourage students to join. All small groups will be journeying through The Tangible Kingdom series with the larger church. If you are interested in being a leader of a student group, please contact Pastor Jason for an application or download it from the church website. The student ministry team will review applications once received.

Fall High School Happenings Kicking Off

Attention high school youth! Mark your calendars for the first and third Sundays of the months for this fall! On the first Sunday of each month “Caffeine and Conversation” will take place. These are times for high school students to watch a movie, listen to music, and have conversation about how the gospel intersects these areas. The third Sunday of each month will be a coffeehouse, a time for students to hang out, enjoy some caffeinated beverages, and listen to some acoustic worship. Both of these events will be from 6:00-9:00 pm at locations to be determined and are meant to be places to invite friends and get them engaged in the movement. The first event will take place Sunday night, September 5th, from 6:00-9:00 pm at Aroma’s Coffee Coliseum. Please join us!

Gatherings for Parents of Teens To Begin

These are times for parents to share the ups and downs of their journeys as parents of teenagers.
