Core Values:
Love-Oriented
- Provide love, encouragement and support to parents, many of whom may feel they are not capable of teaching or influencing their children to walk with God.
- Help families, as a unit, to learn to love the families around them and look out for the least of these in their neighborhoods.
Respectful
- Help families assess their differences and understand how to leverage those differences (and tensions) for their own benefit and the benefit of the Kingdom.
- Help equip parents to navigate the transitions of their children’s lives with respect and honor.
Aware of Modeling
- Support spiritual growth and development in PSBC families across age groups, from young children to senior adults.
- Help parents understand that they are essential to the spiritual development of their children and that they must “own” that responsibility, if we are to succeed in grounding the younger generation in Christ.
Grounded
- Help families find joy in worshipping God together.
- Raise the awareness of the importance of family in Scripture and how that translates to the church today.
