Mission:
The Operations Team and its sub-teams exist to provide behind-the-scenes and foundational support for all ministries of Park Street. We do what we do to create an environment where ministry can flourish, the community feels welcome, and service opportunities abound.
Vision:
Park Street Brethren Church’s support network of facilities, finance, communications, technology, HR, and office teams will effectively collaborate for seamless ministry support. We will work together to ensure that strong but “invisible” support exists at all levels, freeing ministry to move forward without unnecessary barriers.
Core Values:
o Wisdom – We will use the resources available to us wisely, in ways that honor God.
o Dependability – We’ll consistently and reliably support our church’s ministries, ensuring that they have the environment and material resources they need to do God’s work.
o Selflessness – We’re the behind-the-scenes, barely visible “stage crew” – the ones who work tirelessly to create seamless support for the front-line ministries. We will never seek to make money or buildings the main focus, and we realize that our projects exist as means for ministry to happen, not as ends in themselves.
o Integrity – We will ensure that Park Street’s support ministries always operate with honesty, clarity, and integrity in order to build a high level of trust with our congregation.
