Divorce Recovery Group
Come join us 7 pm in Room 204 (Parlor) to experience biblical teaching and support for this very difficult time in people’s lives.
Divorce Recovery groups last 13 weeks and are offered quarterly. Group members may repeat this process as needed. Open to all.
Contact leader Chuck Russell at 419-589-6250 or assistant Kathy McFarlin at 419-496-9670 for more information, or call the church office at 419-289-0224.
This group provides support to divorced people and meets Wednesdays at 7 pm in PSBC Room 204 of the Christian Education building. The group uses DivorceCare, a video series especially for divorced people, and new groups start every 13 weeks. If you're separated, divorced, thinking about divorce, or just concerned about someone divorcing, we invite you to check out Divorce Recovery.
People are often open to spiritual solutions for their lives when they face a major life crisis. Events such as the loss of a loved one, divorce, substance abuse, financial crisis and health emergencies often lead people to an openness for a relationship with the Lord. Effective ministry by our church in such areas can serve as a gateway to Christ and to an active spiritual life for those without a faith.
GriefShare, with its biblical, Christ-centered perspective, is an effective tool to help people find or deepen their faith in Christ as they examine soul-level questions about death, dying, their own mortality and eternal life. In our culture, grief and the deep hurts that accompany it are among the most significant spiritual turning points in a person’s life. GriefShare provides us with tools and a strategy to point grieving people to Christ as the source of their healing.
Join us in Room 400 to experience GriefShare, a seminar/support group for grieving loss due to the death of someone close.
Are YOU experiencing grief? Do you know anyone OUTSIDE the church who is grieving the loss of a loved one? Then, please join us as we experience Christ as the source of our healing.
For more information, contact Kathy McFarlin, GriefShare leader, at (419)496-9670 or call the church office at (419)289-0224.

Transformational Prayer
Using the materials and methods (formerly known as Inner Healing Prayer) of Dr. Terry Wardle from Ashland Theological Seminary, Wendy Lemon facilitates an experience of transformational prayer here at Park Street Brethren Church.
All sessions build on each other and create a safe and caring environment for all participants. Topics include: The Journey to Wellness; The Ministry of the Holy Spirit; The Structures of Healing; Dysfunctional Behaviors and Emotional Upheaval; The Relationship Between Wounds, Spiritual Warfare, and Inner Healing.
This is a unique opportunity to share in a ministry of the Holy Spirit working through the Christian caregiver to bring the healing presence of Christ into places of pain and brokenness.
To inquire about the next seminar, please call the church office.
