Children's Christmas Musical 2026- A Yuletide Tale of Two Kingdoms
Park Street's kindergarten through 5th grade children will be celebrating Christmas with the musical The Silent Knight on Sunday, December 13 at 6 pm.
This is a brand new musical, so unfortunately there is not a full-length video production to watch.
Here is a preview that includes some clips of the musical. (Please note our production will not look just like this!) You can also listen to all of the songs on streaming platforms. (Great for learning the songs, especially in the car!) Search for The Silent Knight by Semsen Music.
The Silent Knight tells a dynamic story of two kingdoms that have grown apart through misunderstanding and envy. As the story unfolds, humor, energy, and heartfelt worship offer a powerful message about unity, reconciliation, and the hope of Christ.
Due to sheer numbers, ALL KINDERGARTNERS (AND ANY 1ST GRADERS WHO OPT FOR THIS ON THE SIGN-UP FORM) WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE SHOW ONLY, AND WILL NOT COME TO REHEARSALS UNTIL NOVEMBER 1!
Please notice on the schedule below: If your child is a main character in the scenes listed, they will need to come at 5:30 pm to run through their roles prior to the all-cast rehearsal.

Sunday, 10/11, 6-7 pm; Main characters in Scenes 1 & 2 start at 5:30 pm
Sunday, 10/18, 6-7 pm; Main characters in Scene 3 start at 5:30 pm
Sunday, 10/25, 6-7 pm; Main characters in Sene 4 & 5 start at 5:30 pm
Sunday, 11/1, 6-7 pm; Main characters in Scene 6 start at 5:30 pm
Sunday, 11/8, 6-7 pm; Main characters in Scene 7 start at 5:30 pm
Sunday, 11/15, 6-7 pm: Main characters in Scene 8 start at 5:30 pm
Sunday, 11/22, 6-7 pm: Review all scenes.
Sunday, 11/29, 6-7 pm: Main characters and soloists ONLY!
Sunday, 12/6, 6-7 pm: Complete run-through
Midweek extra rehearsals may be added, if necessary.
Saturday, 12/12 MANDATORY FULL 3- HOUR DRESS REHEARSAL; TIME TO BE DECIDED SOON. (SAVE THE DATE!)
Sunday, 12/13--6 PM SHOWTIME!
It is expected that all children, as well as those with solos and lines, will listen and learn the songs on their own prior to rehearsals. Please discuss the various options of participation with your child(ren), explaining the level of commitment that is expected, and only sign them up for what they would like to do. We will try to accommodate requests, but it is not guaranteed.
Please complete a form for each child. (But we only need both parents' contact info once!)
Deadline to sign up is Monday, September 28. Look for an email on October 2 with detailed information from Director Katelyn Robey. Others involved are Lanie Roberts, Sue Amstutz, Colleen Cook, Abby Sanders, Cassie Sarelis, and Mary Cooper.
