Word of Life: Exploring Key New Testament Terms

Join us as we dive into the rich and powerful language of the New Testament. Each week, we’ll explore a significant word or phrase—unpacking its original meaning, its theological depth, and how it speaks to our lives today. Whether you’re new to the Bible or have studied it for years, this class will deepen your understanding and appreciation for God’s Word.

9 AM in Room 402 with Dr. Joe Griffith/Tyler Henry:

The 7 Capital Vices 

Explore with us the seven capital vices as a way of convicting our hearts for and enriching our language of repentance, during corporate confession on Sundays and throughout the week. 

10:30 AM in Room 403 with Dardi Hendershott:

Out of the Wilderness (for women)

Living in the fullness of Christ—embracing a life deeply rooted in His love, grace, and purpose—can be thwarted by our inability to get out of survival mode following difficult seasons. In this class, we will discuss biblically based action steps to help us release the things that keep us looking back.  By practicing surrender, we can believe, receive, and embrace the “new thing” God has for us with gratitude and hope-filled anticipation.
