Ordinary People, Extraordinary Faith: Old Testament

(Bernie will offer a complementary New Testament study in Fall Session II)

God often works through people whose names are not well known but whose faithfulness makes a lasting impact. In this six-week study, we will explore the lives of Bezalel, Shiphrah and Puah, Huldah, Jonathan, Abigail, and Ebed-Melech. Through their stories, we will discover lessons about courage, wisdom, peacemaking, service, and trusting God in everyday life. Join us as we learn how ordinary people can be used by God in extraordinary ways.

10:30 AM in Room 400 with Keith Ramsdell and Scott Williams
Consider the Evidence: An Investigative Apologetics Course
This course examines the historical evidence for Christianity by following the investigative journey of Lee Strobel in The Case for Christ, exploring whether Jesus existed, whether the Gospels are reliable, whether Jesus claimed to be God, and whether the resurrection can be supported by historical evidence. Through careful examination of historical sources, archaeology, eyewitness testimony, and scholarly research, you will be challenged to evaluate the evidence for yourself and determine what it means for your own beliefs and worldview.
10:30 AM in Room 403 with Danbi Miller and Paul Stoffer
Experience Jesus, Really
Using the sermon series companion book by John Eldredge, explore how to have an experiential daily relationship with God, even in (or maybe especially in) our distracting, constantly connected, broken world.
